Forever ago I tried the first episode of Fullmetal Alchemist and didn’t connect with it. There are multiple people who have told me to try Brotherhood.
I did like this first episode better than the other first episode. More of it was funny to me, Edward’s reactions were the best. Part of that is the animation too, Edward’s facial expressions are more detailed.
But I will also admit that I still had trouble connecting with it. I’m not going to stop watching it yet, I’ll give it at least two more episodes then we’ll see!
