One of Retsuko’s childhood friends comes back from a trip abroad and they get to hang out and talk. They also discuss Retsuko’s personality. She’s really responsible and people tend to take advantage of that. All the extra work is also making her age too fast. But Retsuko’s friend has a business idea and she starts to fantasize about leaving her bad corporate job.
I feel so bad for Retsuko. It really is easier said than done to deal with people above you treating you unfairly and giving you more work. I’d have so much trouble with an office job, I imagine. Especially one like hers.
It is really funny to watch though.
