Aggretsuko is about anthropomorphic animals. It specifically focuses on Retsuko who works in the accounting department of a big company.
I enjoyed season two even more than the first season. I liked getting to know some of the characters better and adding new members to the cast.
And while I still ship Retsuko with Haida, I enjoyed watching her relationship with Tadano. (The first season relationship made me sad.) They had a slow burn and then they started to have conflict but she didn’t communicate or disagree but with the help of her friends she finally communicated via karaoke. Such an amazing scene. Also her friends helping her out was really great to see.
I do think it’s really important to communicate what you want. But it can be hard if your partner firmly disagrees. I’m glad she acknowledged what she needed.
