This episode mostly focuses on Rei and Harunobu’s relationship. They competed against each other as kids, we get a flashback of that. And they compete in the present. We see one of their matches.
We also see them celebrating another Obon festival. And we see different ways individuals mourn. Rei does it by trying to forget and Hina does it by crying away from her family so they can’t see.
