At first Sucy and Lotte want to do the sacrifice normally but they see how hard Akko is trying and decide to support her.
At first they try to make the ghost laugh but then they find out that the situation is more complicated than they thought.
Diana also seems conflicted but it could be for a couple reasons. One might be that she genuinely thinks Akko and her friends did a good job, or that she wants to be friends with Akko and her friends, or that she wants friends like Akko who support her rather than worship her, or she’s upset that Akko has Shiny Rod.
But maybe we’ll see? There’s at least one more episode that is part of this festival arc.
