But anyway, the conversation at the hospital didn’t go the way I thought in the tenth episode. We get to see it in the special.
Mostly, this is about Christmas Eve. In Japan, it’s more of a couple’s date night type holiday. Retsuko scrambles to make plans and she’s addicted to Instagram.
The tenth episode didn’t give me that much closure. The one relationship ended but it was still up in the air between Haida and Retsuko. In this special there isn’t any closure there but he does walk her to the train station. It’s super cute and a really good sign.
